Image Steganography

Images can be stored in a variety of different formats. This steganographic technique is designed for images that use a 3-byte RGB representation for each pixel. Each pixel requires 3 bytes to specify how much red, green and blue the colour consists of.

By modifying the LSB (least significant bit) of each pixel, we can encode a message into an image such that the change in colour values is negligable to the human eye. This method of encoding data in an image is one of the oldest and most prolific techniques amongst image steganography.
